I’m excited to share my twelfth release as Casey Monroe, my side project where I reinterpret familiar songs through a gentle, lullaby-inspired lens. This time, I chose Yesterday by The Beatles.

I’ve always been drawn to how this song holds sadness and grace in the same space. There’s a stillness in it, like remembering something you can’t quite return to. I played it on nylon guitar, letting the notes settle softly, almost like the moment just before sleep. Hope you enjoy!

Last week, I also released a new original piece with Ryan Judd titled And There You Were. It began with Ryan’s expressive chords, which sparked the melody that I layered above them.
