My brand new album, Reimagined Strings, Vol. I, is out today! 🥳

This is the very first album released under my Casey Monroe side project, where I reimagine classic songs through acoustic guitar. To celebrate the release, I’m featuring my new cover of John Denver’s “Sunshine On My Shoulders” as the album’s final single.

The full album is now available to stream on your favourite streaming service, or you can listen and support me directly through my website if you’d like to.

The story behind John Denver's original 1971 classic is rooted in pure spontaneity. Denver wrote the song on a cold, dreary late-winter day in Minnesota (where I lived for 2 years), longing for the warmth of spring and sunshine. What started as an introspective reflection written on his acoustic guitar grew into one of his most beloved anthems, celebrating the quiet, comforting power of nature and simple moments.
